Nissan has launched the all-new 2023 Nissan X-TRAIL in the middle east to enhance its broad line-up and build on its strong SUV leadership in the region. The All-New X-TRAIL is a high-end urban crossover which comes with a new bolder design, improved performance, and a host of cutting-edge features

The fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail has a 20-year legacy and offers a premium yet accessible driving experience. The latest model is the most technologically advanced X-TRAIL to date, featuring the latest Nissan Intelligent Mobility tech to keep drivers and passengers safe and connected. Built on the cutting-edge CMF-C platform, it boasts solid build quality and improved aerodynamics. The X-TRAIL also debuts ProPILOT Assist in its lineup, among other Nissan Intelligent Mobility features.

Technical Details of the All-new 2023 Nissan X-TRAIL
The all-new model of the X-TRAIL is driven by a powerful yet efficient 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, that makes 181 horsepower and 244 Nm of torque, 12 horsepower and 11Nm more than its predecessor. The X-TRAIL also gets Paddle Shifters with Shift wire transmission for smoother shifts.
The Compact SUV sports a Macpherson strut suspension set-up in the front and an advanced multi-link set-up at the rear. It also gets upgraded power steering with a 4×4 driving system. It also gets the Twist Drive mode selector that can be used to select among the five driving modes – Offroad, Snow, Auto, Eco and Sports.

The SL variant of the X-TRAIL features a 12.3 inches instrument cluster TFT Display, a 12.3 inches infotainment display and a 10.8 inches Head-Up Display in a wide-screen style. A traditional ‘Kiriko’ cut glass texture is also added to the instrument cluster’s digital background as a sign of Nissan’s Japanese DNA. The vehicle is fitted with a 10-speaker Bose audio system.
The interior of the 2023 X-TRAIL is offered with NASA-inspired Zero Gravity Seats wrapped in premium quilted semi-aniline leather while the top-of-the-range SL variant features premium Nappa leather with 3D diamond quilting. The cabin boasts new white ambient lighting and an integrated rear door sunshade for natural light control, both complementing the ‘floating’ centre console design with twin cup holders.

The X-TRAIL comes with USB as well as Wireless charging, Android Auto and Apple Wireless Carplay compatibility. The Cabin also has a panoramic sunroof. A 40/20/40 split third row of passenger seats are also offered for the car and when the two rear seats are not in use, the X-TRAIL’s boot space increases to 585 litres.
Safety features on the All-New X-TRAIL
Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility suite of active safety features is also enhanced now, making it the safest X-TRAIL yet. It comes with Nissan Safety Shield 360 that includes Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Intervention, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Prevention and High Beam Assist.

In addition to Safety Shield 360, the all-new SUV also offers Nissan’s innovative Intelligent Driver Alertness technology and Intelligent Around-view monitor with moving object detection. The available ProPILOT Assist is a semi-auto driver assistance system with Lane Keep Assist that can accelerate and brake the car within a single highway lane.
Exterior details of the Nissan X-TRAIL
On the outside, the X-TRAIL sports signature Nissan design elements such as a floating roof and the V-motion grille. The headlights are moulded with the front bumper design and have combined Daytime Running Lights and turn signal indicators. At the back, the vehicle features split taillights and a taught horizontal line that lies above and below the licence plate mount. The adventurous nature of the X-TRAIL is reflected in a silver strip that curls under the rear bumper.

A variety of new features, such as 3D tyre deflectors in the lower front fascia, an active grille shutter, and unique A-pillar sculpting, contribute to the X-TRAIL’s improved aerodynamics.
The all-new 2023 Nissan X-TRAIL, after the Patrol, Pathfinder, and Kicks, is the fourth SUV model to flaunt the brand’s latest emblem, echoing Nissan’s most recent design language.
